Ngā mihi manaakitia mai ki nga rangātira me nga kaimahi me nga tāngata whānau whanui katoa o Ngā Tāne Mōrehu o Taranaki – Sincere Greetings to all staff, board, each survivor and your significant others / friends / whanau in Taranaki.
Kia Ora, I’m Rochelle, a proud māmā of three wonderful tamāriki – from teens to toddler. I am on a journey of self-discovery, live in coastal Taranaki and join as a new member of your Male Survivors Taranaki Board with a willingness to learn what it means to advocate. I am fortunate to continue my recent community, mental and public health nursing experience in a role that directly responds to elder abuse around our region.
I look forward in understanding what aspirations Male Survivors Taranaki have to offer our rohe and how, as a Māori woman, I can help to increase delivery and use of its services. For now, I acknowledge your courage in finding out what works for you and the strength to journey each day toward wellbeing for your and your whānau’s sake – he iti, he pounamu.
Assisting where, when and whoever I can
